Lazaro J. Mur, Esq., JD, LLM., (Retired Certified Public Accounting), is the Founder of The Mur Law Firm, P.A.  Mr. Mur has been serving the international business community and high net worth entrepreneurs since 1985.  Mr. Mur has an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubble, is named as one of the Top Tax Attorneys in the state of Florida by the Miami Herald, has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal, is Former Chair of the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Committee for Democracy In The Americas, Lectures on the topics of Global Asset Protection, International Tax Structuring and Sophisticated Estate Planning on behalf of the National Business Institute, and LawProCLE, and is a contributing Author for Mundo Offshore. 

Mr. Mur is a Patron of the Arts and Co-Author of Now Your Cooking with Latin Flavors, was the recipient of the American Juris Prudence Award on International Tax and the recipient of the MDC Outstanding Alumni Award. Mr. Mur Chairs the Nation's only Hispanic Organization in support of parental awareness in Education, and works to improve the educational outcomes of Hispanic students throughout the Nation. Mr. Mur served on the Board of the Zambrano Foundation alongside former Presidents, Dignitaries and Corporate Leaders in the Americas. Mr. Mur heads up the DITAS Global Roundtable to promote awareness among Fortune 500s and Hispanic Business 500s, Chairmen and CEOs on the importance of education to a global economy. 

Mr. Mur graduated from Florida International University in 1981, and received his J.D. in 1985 and LL.M. in Taxation in 1987 from the University of Miami.  Mr. Mur was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1985.  In addition to being a well recognized published Author who has frequently lectured at National and International Conferences on Global Asset Protection Strategies and International Tax Planning, Mr. Mur is Special Counsel to foreign law firms and accounting firms on sophisticated International Tax Planning matters and consults for numerous foreign governmental trade agencies on International Trade issues.
